If you're off to batter things might I suggest pickles. Went to an authentic southern barbeque joint in Victoria called The Smoken Bones Cookshack with a few out of town friends and must say... nothing goes better with ribs, cornbread and bourbon than a plate of deep fried pickles. |

That's Albertans for you!" Why bother?
Really? Have a look in the Alberta trip reports forum. We're pretty friendly people. :) |

Well I'll probably contribute this summer, if only to dilute my "contributions" thus far. I'm hoping to get to the Limestone Lakes in Height of the Rockies, seems like a bon fide shangra-la, and a little less common than Assiniboine or Rockwall.
From last year... |

| Oh, BTW to the moderator(s): I performed Release's experiment from here in Vancouver...you cannot "innocently" stumble upon that "snow and mud forum" post by google unless you search "club tread" and "anti-hunter". |

Using Google searches as proofs is rather dubious. Google gives you different results depending on whether or not you are logged into your Gmail account or not. If you are logged in it gives you custom results based off your previous searches. So unless you can login to cambiums Gmail account you cannot know what his search results were. |

Fair enough. I have to admit that I really do not know much about that. I don't use Gmail, that's all I can say.
So, to be fair, I may have jumped the gun on that. However, I did get the exact same results as Release, but perhaps that has something to do with the traffic that has previously gone to certain posts? |

| Yeah I don't know what to say about the whole Google thing. I got the same search results as Cambium not only from my home computer, but from a co-workers office computer that had never been used for such purposes. The chances of these two computers having the same user search history as Cambium's is zero, so I have to lean on geographical location (Van Isl). |

How interesting...I once said the same thing, and yet, when a veteran poster and mountaineer (this was REALLY disappointing), tried to taunt me recently with a lack of trip reports after their arguments fell flat, you didn't support me at all. In fact, you've been screaming at me about a lack of trip reports for some time. Incredible hypocrite....did you think nobody would notice? |

I don't know what the case is now, but at times in the past, I do not believe you had to be looged into a gmail account. I never looked into it specifically, but I thought Google used your web history to tailor results, regardless of whether you had a gmail account. |

Probably all boils down to individual Cookies. Like a box of chocolates, you get a different one each time. |
