Hmmm...really? Calgary might be nice but in the "rockies" it's raining and we are in the middle of a thunderstorm in Banff. The same storm that chased my wife and I away from near the foot of Stanley Got a good cardio workout from high tailing it outta there though.

Rockies summer forecast, chance of thunder in the afternoon

^Sorry to hear - guess that's what we get with the heat. The forecast I tagged was for nakiska ridgetop, but I spent the weekend down in the sheep and we had weather as perfect as I could ever have ordered.
Hope the slightly cooler weekend chased the thunderstorms away.

Looking at the next weeks forecast, I reiterate - come visit us! But only in the mornings! :D

The summer that I lived in Calgary the weather was extremely predictable: crystal clear blue skies until the early afternoon, then thunderheads build up until about 5pm, then a massive thunder storm, then by 7pm things are pretty clear again. Maybe not every day, but it seemed that way more often than not.

Brilliant weather all weekend where I was (TR to follow, and no, this one hasn't been reported on multiple times )
