Persistent upper level ridge over the Northwest pushes jet stream north:

The ECMWF is awesome, but doesnt show that nice ridge from a week ago. It does show the split flow and a little short wave trough though.

That little trough made it a rather cool one today

I havent been watching the weather too to closely this winter...hasnt been much of one anyways

Just came back from Trophy's sister hut the Discovery.
Awesome skiing all week long.

There is a bit less snow than there was last year, and it was warmer than last year, but the quality was awesome.
