| I think what it needs most is a search, and a two-way link between trip reports and trail Wiki. It will be so wonderful if I could read a trail Wiki, then right there also be able to click and read trip reports from that particular trail I'm interested in. |

| I just added a trail, and it doesn't give an option for elevation gain or grade. Only start, min and max elevations, and then I assume that it would calculate it from there. Any chance we could have the option to manually add this, since the elevation gain on hikes if easily available in most guide books, but min and max elevations often aren't |

Could you add the Garmin Communicator to the Wiki - http://developer.garmin.com/web-device/garmin-communicator-plugin/? Lots of us on here have Garmin GPSs, I'd even say an overwhelming majority and this would certainly be easier than having to punch everything in manually, or downloading the gpx file - opening it in Mapsource - sending it to my GPS. This way I could just plug my gps in, press one button and have it all dumped right onto my gps. Just a suggestion..... |

Cool plugin, and just think of all the people who'd unwittingly upload all their waypoints, tracklogs including every Tim Hortons (beer and wine store) stops, their home address, their place of work and their outdoor grow-ops and stool sample deposits complete with the time of day.
Sure would be an interesting browse for Shadow |
