Jeffster - That's awesome! Yeah, nothing like representing your country outside of your bounds... especially in the US :) People seem to take kindly to Canada though. When I was trekking last year in Asia/Nepal, all the time someone saw the red and white flag on my pack they'd give the "Ohh!! Canada!! Very Good!" and talk up a storm. Quite a feeling of pride for your nation.
