I had the chance to venture out to Tranquille river recently and film some amazing high water in the canyon that I so love! In low water this canyon is full of pools fed by pleasant little water falls and is a great spot to escape the heat of summer. As an added bonus, it is somewhat out of the way resulting in an afternoon of solitude.
I really wanted to capture the mood and feel of this area so I brought along my GoPro, a 16 foot painting pole and a zipline for filming. The resulting footage cannot come close to expressing how nice it actually is there, but you can get an idea anyway.

| Nice video...even the music is perfect for the vid. When I use to live there, Tranquille Canyon was one of my favorite places to hike especially when the water level was low; you can then walk quite a ways upstream as there is a trail inside the canyon. One time I met some people who were sluicing for gold. |

| Thanks Solo75 and msulkers! Thats very cool that you know where I'm filming! I've also panned for gold out there. You are guaranteed a few flecks with every shovel full into your pan! I'm looking forward to low water and the many pools in the canyon! |

looks real good taking the time to take the right shots and editing likely took a 4x longer than the actual trip. nice job |
