Today my friend and I checked Dreamweaver trail. It was very muddy but weather was very pleasant.
It was great to see some old growth there. We had lunch and beer on top of the Cut. Nice day out.

A must for every North Shore hiker! How's the Kwaii Bridge holding up? It really is a fine piece of engineering

Thank you for your comment Mick. Is that the name of long boardwalk bridge? It's in great condition and it is really beautiful. But I liked the logs over the creek more. It was slippery to cross.

Actually, if you mean that log crossing over Mosquito Creek, I agree, that's a beautiful spot

great little trail. I hike the dreamweaver about once a week.
I appreciate whoever it was who re-gashed into the log that leads to the one that crosses the river, it is quite helpful grip for staying upright while walking across the log on the wet days. kwaii bridge seems to be getting a little slimier when wet, but no worries with the hand line being there.
And yes, always good to walk through some old growth so accessible and close to home.

Beautiful work, and really like the shot of that giant tree.

Also one of my favourite little trails. Even with the hand line, the Kwaii Bridge still gives my knees the shakes!
