A friend and I are looking to do a couple night backpacking trip somewhere between Vancouver and Kelowna. Does anyone know if Cathedral Park West of Osoyoos would be snow free this time of the year? What area would be the best to check out, we havn't been to this park before.

Thanks for the info.

Will not be snow free. Google Cathdral Park lodge to see if they've opened (cleared the road yet.)

I was in there on the May long weekend a few years ago. We only ran into snow at 6500 feet and above. Went in Wall Creek trail then south on the Cathedral Forks trail.
