Set off for Mt Bowman on the dusty and dry trail from the Circle H Ranch on Saturday evening around 6pm...

We were happy we left the snowshoes in the truck...untill we hit waist deep crust slush at the bowman-kerr junction. Oh well, we pushed on, set up camp after doing a quick detour around the creek gully full of snow and ascended the opposite snow free slope, facing opposite of Bowman.

The Next morning, pushed on to Bowman, flanking the side of the creek gully where the trail was until we gained enough elevation to gradually hit the ramp up Bowman.

Once on the small scree section, it was easy going and minimal snow to plow through.

After getting to the base under the limestone walls of Bowman, we ran up to the top under a sunny sky...Sheena in trail runners kicking the occasional step???

Up to the ridge and to the the summit just in time for lunch...

Headed down to Echo Valley Ranch for a night...A pic of Bowman from the Ranch

Overall, Mt Bowman has always been and always will be a fun little hike anytime of year, and a good way to end it at Echo Valley Ranch!

Now, that's a real man's expedition!

Did you pick buttercups along the way too?

What did you have in your packs anyway....stolen hand towels, body wraps and mini soaps from the resort?

Boushh!!!

He was a successful male Ubese bounty hunter active around the time of the formation of the Galactic Empire. Known for his melee skills and penchant for thermal detonators, Boushh was considered cool-headed in a profession often filled with trigger-happy mercenaries, and operated as a freelancer traveling from system to system looking for work. He wore a suit of customized Ubese armor—layers of brown survival material and an optically-enhanced helmet which both provided him with protection and obscured his identity. Although he made sure to never officially join the Bounty Hunters' Guild, Boushh worked for Crimson Nova, a sect of the Guild dedicated to hunting fugitive Jedi. During the Great Jedi Purge, he helped hunt Jedi Knight Kai Justiss alongside bounty hunters Zuckuss and Breela.

However, he gave his custom outfit to Sheena for the Alpine of BC...I think Return of the Jedi just confused things for a while.

I got attacked by a whirlwind on Bowman once. No joke. It scared the hell out of me.

Nice trip man. What's sad is that I probably knew most of that Boushh bio already... I was Star Wars crazy as a kid.
