Anyone been up the chance creek area lately, was wondering how far you can drive toward the cloudburst spur ?

Not very far Mark. Someone was up there couple weeks back and hiked in from 510 metres. Sounds like just past the cat ski compound at Km 2.

It's a bit further now paul - just past the Roe and Chance creek turnoff though. So still a long ways to go on the road

Melt-out has been a little slow lately, as overnight temps are near or below freezing and not nearly as much sunshine. Add to that the factor of snowmachine compacted snow and it'll take a while for it to melt-out for vehicle traffic.

Anyone know how far up the snowline is around Squamish right now? Is it melted up to around 1000m or so yet?

Thanks!
