Oh yeah! We talked about it on the Cheam trip! I have requested a few quotes...now I need to know who's in! I am waiting for my quotes but think if we get 15+ the prices will be better. Common people! Step out of your comfort zone and JUMP! And if you can't jump, I'll push you! It's gonna be one of the best rushes we've ever experienced! WOOOOOOHOOO! Who's in?

I'll be in.

I've done two static line jumps, 4000 ft and 3500 ft in Toronto @ PST

and I did a 15000 foot tandem jump in switzerland.

What was the plan for the group jumps? did you want us all to do static jumps? I'd be up for that, i'd also be interested in doing an accelerated freefall from 8-10 thousand feet if that is available.

I'd rather pilot a plane than jump out of one.

Have fun everyone - and remember to post pictures!

cheers - C Wall

Hi Brenda,
As I said on Cheam hike, if the price is right, I'll jumping for sure. Woohoo!!!

P.S. I'm gone August 13th-Sept 5. If I cannot make it, have an awsome time everyone.

Thanks for organizing this Brenda.

I'm impressed, you are braver people than I am. I think it would have to be an incredible thrill but my fear of heights keeps me grounded. Have fun, don't forget the trip report and I want lots of pictures!!

ok...Got the quotes for both tandem jumping and solo jumping...best quote comes as:

if we get 15+ people the cost for solo is 165.00 each. SOLO:We do 5 hours of learning then hop in the plane (5 at a time) to jump from 3,000ft and freefall 5seconds. We will be guided by radio for landing. They will video tape our group for free and if we want individual tapes, then they are $15.00 per person. If we only get 10-14 people the price for solo is 175.00 each. TANDEM costs $190: we take the course then hop in a plane. There are two planes avail...larger one goes to 12,500ft with everyone for a 50second freefall and smaller one goes to 10,000ft with a 30second freefall.

Who wants to do this? AND what do you want to do? SOLO OR TANDEM. ALSO:PAYMENT...I can book for everyone but will require payment up front as I am using my credit card to book. We have to book this as a group for these group rates. AND DATE: How is August 9-12 as a window???? Ask your friends and family!! Lets get 15+ and I don't care if we do tandem or solo, I just want to go!!

I hate to be a spoil sport, especially after being MIA for such a long time, but I think it would be best to plan these types of activities through email. To keep the site on track, it is best to leave the sign up board for the planning of hiking/backpacking trips and the monthly socials/dinners. Thanks!
