Grey Hair, thanks also for saying you were sorry, but please be assured that I did not take offense at all - no apology necessary. Actually, I have done a bit of reading on St. Francis, and should probably take your reference to me as 'St. Francis' as a real compliment! So thanks!
I thought it appropriate to quote from the saint - the words are particularly meaningful for this forum and thread:
Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
Where there is hatred, let me bring Your love,
Where there is injury, Your pardon, Lord,
And where there is striving, let us seek Your peace.
I think it was Thomas Jefferson who said that we might not all agree with each other's opinions, but we should fight to the death for all to have the right to have one's own opinion.
