I am back from my trip and surprisingly did not die from the numerous perils.

I will try to make my way up to Bishop soon (with Bishop). You have one choice...

1. Beat me up there and let me wallow in my own shame like a big stinky old sow.

haha - good work Grachman!

Neither yours, nor Grachman's is a first ascent. Give the man his due, and let him earn his glory in peace, then all hail his achievement.

Yup, just friendly in my usual roundabout way.

I know that usually skulls aren't considered ultra friendly - but that one is just soo very cool.

Congrats on surviving the WCT:) I have declared war on the mountain so I don't think anyone will be able to beat me now.

I am posting this by headlamp from my wireless laptop atop Mt Bishop. It is very cold up here but the view of the city is unbelievable

Hey Dru...what size screws did you use for as crampons to make the summit?

haha.

Secretly I suspect Grachman will get there first. I am pretty tired from my trip and have had my fill of hiking for at least a few days - I also have to free myself some geeky time to concoct a good trip report.

Very sensible :) I promise not to making any attempts while you are in your recovery period.(hehe)

As Mick mentioned, it would be a great two day hike if you camped at Vicar lake.

I was on the summit of Mt Bishop between 12:20 and 1:00pm today. I was looking over my shoulder the whole way up. Thought for sure someone was going to me a run for my money.
