I do a lot of hiking in the Alberta and Montana badlands. This creature (at least his foot) wasn't going anywhere. This fellow is from the Lost River area along the border. Heaven is wandering the badlands for hours and never seeing another soul... unless rattlers have souls.

OK...at least he 'was' wildlife

lol, i did get in the ring/corral (abandoned horse yard near North Showh lake) with him to show him who was boss until he mock charged and i ran like a girly man into the waiting truck :)
