Those are some nice shots there ST

Speaking of urban wildlife, here's a mallard duck who likes hanging out below Hardy Falls lots (in Peachland)

A Herring gull circles and glides gracefully by me along the Channel Parkway today...

*edit* actually I think this may be the similar-looking California gull as it has black eyes and yellow feet whereas the Herring gull should have yellow eyes and pink feet.

A gull nevertheless but a fancy flyer.

...so looking out the window... there was a large "lump" on one of my trees...

...

I zoomed in a bit...

...

...and then a bit more...

... ...

Sweeeeeeeet... the branch she's sitting on is at least 8" in diameter... I know it's a "she", 'cos her mate was swooping in and out of the tree branches (just a couple of feet away from the house!!!) trying to impress her... too fast for me to take a shot... sigh...

Then, all of a sudden, they decided to fly off together...

...

...

Great eagle shots Mauricio!

Here's my two favorites from my recent trip report.

Also thought I'd add this one as it is a little out of the ordinary. This elk is aptly nicknamed "unicorn".

Sorry for the awkward shot, I had the wrong lens on but you get the idea, the horn actually comes right out the center of its forehead!

nice pics of Spruce Grouse (Franklins subspecies). These guys are typically unwary and when you "sneak" up on them you can get really close!
