Dogs live in the moment and go all out, every day. Why save it for tomorrow, it's today that matters. : )
Today was no different. It's finally a beautiful day, and we can't let it go to waste. : )
The lighting was bad once out of the trees, with the sun in our face, so this was the best I could do on the way up. We had been up here once before, but with a lot more snow and no views because of fog.
It froze over night above 1500m, and with all that rain we had on the weekend, everything above that elevation was quite slick. Very little snow, but any that we did travel on was welcomed, as we got better traction on that.
Summit. Remember this expression. This is what I get when I ask her to pose. : )
I leave her to do what she wants, but she stays put, so I continue to circle and snap pics. : )
  
Tired of posing for me, she is off to do her own thing. : )
Her favourite part...lunch time. : )

Much better lighting on the way down. Very pretty.
Better footing too...the ice had melted by then. : )
 
Nice patch of grass in the pass. Should have brought the soccer ball. : )
Mushrooms I have never seen before. Unless they are at a stage that I haven't seen them at.

If it's Katie's birthday then happy birthday Katie.
If it's Brunswick Mountain then congrats on getting back up there without snow and to the summit twice now and 1 attempt I think. |
