He sure lost his blue merle colouring. In the big pic, does he just have some around the middle now?

LOL on not checking for he/she!

Nice pic of your lab, they make great trail dogs.Does one have to climb much to get on this ridge you were at? Looks like some nice views to be had.

Thanks Aqua

The ridge is about an hour and a half away from radium, but its a long hour and a half. You dont need to do any climbing, but there is some steep sections. We were on the ridge and you can still go even higher right to the top of webb. You look down on one side and see radium, and the other side you can see chilliwack lake. I highly recommend it.

HE still has a bit of merle on him...although it's more "Grizzly" now. Beautiful silver hairs that catch the sunlight, maybe I should try tying some flies with that stuff!
In his youth, his colouring made him look just like a cow...doesn't show up too well in the pics, though!

He also lost the "patch" between his eyes, it moved to the very tip of his tail!

Did I mention that he's SO BIG?
Our last dog was a "mid-size"...this one came camping with us last year (in the photo) and was able to sleep on the FRONT seat between my wife and I...now, he needs the seat to himself!

I just discovered this forum - it has lots of great info for new dog owners like me! Our dog Moxie is only 10 months old so far but she's gone on a few shorter hikes. Here's some pictures of her

The following ad actually ran in The Atlanta Journal.

SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male companionship , race unimportant.
I'm a very good looking girl who LOVES to play, take long walks in the woods,
hunting, camping, fishing trips, and cozy winter nights by the fire.

Would really like a man with a pickup truck. A candlelight dinner
will have me eating out of your hand. I'll be at the front door when you
get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me.
Rub me the right way and watch me respond. Kiss me and I'm yours.

Call (404) 875-6420 and ask for Daisy.

(Over 15,000 men found themselves talking to the Atlanta Humane
Society, about an 8-week old black Labrador retriever.)
