Hi Everyone,
I'll be refreshing this post in around 3 weeks or so. I'm in Kathmandu right now, flying out to Lukla tomorrow for a 21(ish) day trek around the Khumbu region. I've got my digi cam, a digital wallet w/ 20GB storage (so I pretty much have unlimited photos & movies), and a solar panel charging system.. so hopefully I'll be able to catch a lot of the area to send back! Just got back from Cambodia->Vietnam->Laos->Thailand, and I'm topping off the cake with this trek! Trekking with a couple buddies, no guides or anything.. Going to be heading up to Gokyo Ri, further north towards Cho Oyu, down south again then east through Cho La Pass, up to Kala Pattar, Everest Base camp, back south then east up to Island Peak Base camp, and anything on the side that time allows! Should be a fun time, I'll be taking lots of photos and updating this ASAP (probably from Namche on the way back). Cya soon (as long as I don't end up in a crevasse). |
