Missed the trail head and went straight down the road which ends at a creek, there is flagging on the right which went into nasty bush which i`m sure no one had been thur in years, after about 20 minutes i got fed up and descended towards the water when i saw an opening. crossed the creak and headed up a boulder area it topped out and i recrossed the creek and headed up and to my left into the trees.

From here it was straight forward, just kept heading up

two sets of prints going in the same direction as me, looked fairly fresh too,
Pyroclastic and Cayley
headed to the ridge and inbetween to lesser peaks to get a good view to the West.

| I was on the 2wheel drive road, parked at the lower car park, walked up past the trailhead at the upper car park and continued past the boulders along the road. |
