Just a quicky update for those thinking of going further than Thurston proper.

Except for some minor thinner bush, the trail is clear sailing to Mercer. Easy footpath to follow.
Some patches of snow to walk through about 5 minutes before Mercer summit, but it's on fairly flat terrain.
Bugs were not bad...no repellant used.
Flowers everywhere, if that's your thing. : )

Amazing looking raspberries! Im totally in love with Katie. I need a beagle as a hiking partner... Looks like a fun trip. Great photos!
