The are a little rusty so they may have been there for a while but I thought I would post it anyways.

I found these on the way up to statlu lake when I took a wrong turn, I over shot the old road up to statlu commng from mystery creek and turned up the wrong spur, on the way back I noticed these on the road right before the big washout comming up from chehalis lake. If they are yours just message me if you want them back or even if you dont.

My husband thinks those are his keys. He lost a set of keys on that hike in 2009 and he would have hiked there via the old FSR. His email is timothyfarris@hotmail.com

Thanks!

That didn't take long to find the owner, just over 4.5 hrs... Soak them in WD40 and good to go.

I have sent him an email, it would be pretty cool if they were his. A few years ago a member of CT recovered a camera I lost on jim kelly and returned the memory card to me, it sure would be nice to do something similar for someone else.

Edit: Spelling correction.

My wife and I once found a Rolex watch on the Howe Sound Crest trail.

When we got home and checked it out, it turned out to be a fake.

I think the skeleton we took it from was real, though. :-)

They weren't his keys :(

Thanks again for meeting up Mike.

If anyone else finds a set of keys with a black toyota key in that area it might be his...

Yeah too bad they were the wrong ones, sorry to get your hopes up. It seems like it may be a popular place to loose keys, I will have to make extra sure mine are packed tight next time I am in the area. If anyone else thinks they may belong to them PM me.
