This fall from the makers of Cloudveil, comes a new company for outdoor sportswear. It's called Stio: http://www.stio.com/blog/ Looks promising, it should be good stuff.

Looks promising and should be good based on what exactly? The blog is just a bunch of ramblings.

My bad, wrong link, here's the proper one: http://www.trailspace.com/articles/2012/07/17/cloudveil-founder-starts-stio.html It looks promising because Cloudveil makes a good product and this is another company with he same roots. Sorry if it is not up to par for some, I just found this and decided to post this in the gear section, in case anyone was interested. Good day :)

Serendipity was my first softshell. It will be nice to see Stio product line. Cloudveil promising new line for Fall too. They will make new jacket and pants in Neoshell (Cody Peak Jacket and Pants). I hope Stio will be reasonably priced too.

No catalogue yet, and no descriptions of what they plan to make.
Kind of jumping the gun a little bit, I'd think, unless they're just trying to get a buzz going. |

I don't quite understand why this new clothing line is any better than any other of the quality producers we have now.

@hotrod, I was not saying this was any better than what's out there now. I was only letting people who own/like Cloudveil, that there was a new company from the same founders. Thanks for the objective post though :)
