This is certainly not your average tent but then sometimes Astronomy is not your average activity. Anyhow this Tent was developed and produced by the Guangdong Southern Cross Star Association in China. Very Stable, Highly durable, bombproof and in near new condition. I won't be doing Astronomy any more so it's on the block for sale.
Single Wall construction for Altitude, Waterproof Sleeps 3 comfortable (when your telescope is not inside) looks more like a cabana and is designed for generally vehicle access as it weighs in at 8-10lbs but packs real small. Definitely a unique tent for a specific use. Asking $175.00 email me pmicheals@gmail.com

| I'm intrigued. Seems like that tent wouldn't get much use on the west coast, though. |

| I'm curious why you are stopping astronomy. |

eyesight, scopes, binoculars, and SLR cameras just irritate the problem and cause frustration. |

Generally designed for clear skies obviously, but the walls and floor are bomber coated and apparantly you can purchase a fly for it. I just use an old fly from another tent to cover over it and it works. You can adjust the roof for partial or full view |

| The celestron refractor is sold by the way. I held on to my SLR for my son. |

Yes it was a much older manual mount; not motor driven. I also had a home-made Dobsonian ALT/AZ mount built by a a family friend. It was alot easier to use the Dobsonian when viewing with the kids; easier for them to quickly track objects in the sky.
I had a celestron SP-c80 with super-polaris equatorial mount and 6X30 finder, 1.25" focuser and 3 eye pieces. Great unit. The Kids didn't really maintain their interest after I stopped using it. |

No unfortunately I sold the complete setup over a year ago through the Vancouver telescope centre. I did have it listed here on CT for awhile before I put it on consignment at the shop.
