Dear World:

I'm turning over a new leaf. My habit for 56 years was to fix relationships, fix groups, take on other people's problems. Although I tried to stay neutral, I always had something to say because I am was a fixer. No more. I'm working on fixing the fixer and being harmonious and extending loving kindness even when people aren't measuring up to my ideals.

May all things be happy.

I didn't know you were already a fixer when you were only an one hour old baby.

You have no idea Larry, I was born fixing. Hopefully I live to 112 years old so that I can say that half of my life was spent making a difference.

When you get to your 100th birthday, make sure you sing this song (particularly the chorus), and make a video of it. If I am still around, I want to watch it:

fun. We are young.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S97w474g__k

I want to see you set the world on fire when you are 100 years young!

As for fixing things, tell the alleged sinner to sing this song to the fixee. Problem solved.

Mumford and Sons: Little Lion Man

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9NX8qPEIcg

If problem is not fixed, then your power is out.

Arcade Fire: Power out

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FK2IAyCuJ4U

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5jKwMnW3Y8&feature=related

and Wake Up from not needing to fix anything:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7s5bvs4bqk

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZD7CNRSq28&feature=related

All fixing is done in one single post and music videos. QED.

Thanks a lot Larry. That song woke me up twice last night and I still don't get it. Are you saying, in a nice way, that I am young for my age? This does have some benefits and also some trials, not trails.

and...the new leaf keeps turning, hopefully not shit brindle brown.
