I am looking for someone from the southern Vancouver Island region who would like to do some hiking/backpacking on the weekends this summer. I would especially like to explore Strathcona Park and Della Falls this summer, but am open to ideas!

Hello!
I'm a french young woman coming to vancouver in August for 3 weeks. I'm looking for partner to discover the aera. I plan to be on Vancouver island one week around the 15th.
I'm not well experienced and I'm looking for 4 or 5H of hike, in nice environnement. I'm keen on forests, lakes, beaches, whatever with a nice landscape! More a day trip than camping 'cause I won't have the equipement but I'm open ;-)
Would you be interested to hike with me ?
do you know interesting areas we could do ?
I think I'll arrive by parksville from the sunshine coast and then I wanted to go around Ucluelet. After or between, whatever you feel like.
