Went up Silver Tip Mt from Sunshine Valley side on Monday, June 25. Got back to the vehicle, searched, realized and deduced that the keys to the truck are on or right beside the summit cairn. If anyone reading this is going to be in that neighborhood or knows somebody that will be this summer please keep your eye out for a black, Dodge Ram key that looks more like a memory stick. Thanks.

PS; the conditions right now are very good from the north and I would recommend a night time start.

Did you take the main(somewhat protected) gully up to the west ridge? Pictures?

I'd love to, but I'm heading out of town on Friday for 5 days with the fam. I'll give you a shout when I get back.

I use it on my heels, haven't had a blister in three years since I started using it and now Cody also acknowledges its merritt.

Re: thecamel; took the 3rd gully up which has the only good snow coverage and went up for a few hundred meters and then encountered a break in the snow. Then climbed some steep, wet, loose rock for a very short pitch and took a hard left. Couldn't see the best route (midnight start) but on the way down realized difficulties could have been avoided had we gone left. And I forgot my camera

A simple example of physical chemistry, I guess...

The best is when you get a lift in Paul's truck with somebody new and they see the big tub of vaseline near the dash. There's that awkward moment of silence before he says "it's for my heels"
