I personally think your time could be better spent posting something helpful. Then picking on someone that actually posts regular trip reports.
Yes Ubishops gets a bit excited with his pictures but at least he is providing some useful info on area conditions.

I didn't see that as 'picking' on anyone, it seems like the guy actually misses seeing his trip reports. I'm not sure why encouragement needs to be discouraged. |

| Just checked, his last TR was May 27, and that's not even a month ago. He'll be around again soon I'm sure |

Indeed, I really do miss his reports. I quite enjoy them. I have hiked many of the same areas and like to the see the conditions of the area that his photos show. He's probably my favorite trip reporter of anyone. How is this inappropriate? |

How is this picking on someone? I love his reports. He's one of the best trip reporters in my opinion. Your time would be better spent posting something related to the topic I started. If you're going to be off topic then perhaps you should have your posts removed by the moderator. Ubishops posts trip reports mainly in the BC Lower Mainland section of the forums so where else should this be? I would like to know the alpine conditions around whistler right now and he by far has the most frequent trip reports of the alpine area around whistler. I also love his photography. Why you're taking the meaning of my first post and twisting to the complete opposite I do not know. The friendliness level here just went down a notch. |

| Ah, he's returned and given a top notch trip report with plenty of photos to see the current conditions. A picture is worth a thousand words. |

2nd.
ubishops for prime minister.
in all seriousness, though, i didn't find that post offensive either. i guess a bit odd that they mentioned they hadn't seen a ubishops trip report recently, maybe he was just busy type of thing, but probably not out of line.
funny somebody mentioned it, i was actually browsing to see what he'd been up to earlier today, as he often does trails i like... |

lol :) Guess you missed my post from yesterday :) No worries for the negative comments :) I've learned not let that bother me. Some people like my trip reports, some don't - for me it's not a popularity game. I receive more positive comments than bad so as long as my reports encourage at least one person to get out there, then I'm happy :) Been also kayaking and doing some local hikes, Grind, etc. to get prepared for the summer (and hopefully sunny weather soon). Funny, we seemed to have better weather in May this year than June :)

OP is obviously a troll. Why would anyone with noble intentions make a forum post versus sending someone a PM instead.
Can't blame him/her though. Tinmen have no hearts. |

No wonder:
"Outside of Web 2.0 the law is far less known and probably rarely used"
It's mostly a nerdy internet thing that someone now describes as "canon."

Do you post your kayak trips anywhere? I kayak as well but don't post most of them. |

Too funny first a big lecture run on what not to do, all about snow/alpine safety, then people want more posts from him after the T/R's slow down
I too was concerned about him having a bad day on some of the trips/timing he went on. Do respect the T/R's and pics also. Play safe. |
