I have a suggestion about the user statuses-- or whatever they're called.
I'm listed as a "New member", however I've been a member since 2002.
Admittedly I don't post a lot. But I feel that "New Member" doesn't really reflect my place here. I could join and make 200 posts in a week and would probably get a different status (what are the rules about that status message anyways?).
"Strong and Silent"? :)
Not really a big deal, just figured I'd mention it.

Based solely on post count from what I can tell.

Fair enough.
I try to value quality over quantity though, and tend not to express my opinion if someone has already done so. And let's face it, almost all opinions here are expressed. :)
I'd almost prefer it just blank and let people decide for themselves if they think I'm a n00b or not. A switch to turn that field on or off would be awesome.

I think it's OK to have the star rating, but it should be stated that it is in relation to numbers of posts and not due to advanced status or experience, as it seems to imply, or as it seems to be taken by some new posters.
My very first impression of the star rating was that it rated the most cuss words used, as my first postings were berated by some some people using some pretty foul language, that had many stars by their names. |

Do you see that "Donate" button at the top of the page? Send a few $$ to the administrator and likely your status will change.
