| We did the High Falls Creek hike just outside of Squamish on May 27/12. We were going by the 103 Hikes book. When we finished the hike we emerged out on to a logging road. It seems to me that we came out about a 1/2km earlier than we should have according to the book. Does anyone know if that trail has been diverted in the last couple of years or so? It was a nice hike all the way up.It made for a change going up all the small scrambles in the canyon section. |

I remember that there is a junction (quite a bit past the falls and in a treed area) Going towards L) leds to the logging road faster. Going R) at this junction, the trail goes eventually past a boulder field and then connects to the same logging road. i would say this extra part would be about 3/4 km... therefore adding 1.5 km to the hike.

| Coccobean, We did go right at the junction but it seems now you go over a similar rock slide area yet sooner. The trail seemed to be quite well flagged but it is possible we may have missed yet another branch to the right. It's been known to happen on occasion. |
