Good day...
I heard that the lower end of the Othello Tunnels trail was closed... I'm thinking about walking the 4.8k route fron the grave yard end this weekend... Good to go??? |

They always end up closing it due to slides and activity. It's been closed for a long time. Everyone usually just scoots through anyways. You used to be able to squeeze through the gate/fence.
I wouldn't let it stop me. |

| Took my mum there on Mother's Day but we started at the main parking lot. Had no problems getting through the tunnels to the start of the Nicola Valley Trail. I don't know how it was past there but everything seemed to be fine where we were and looking down the trail. |

Sorry it took so long to repost... The day was perfect and the trail was as well! Great day out with my grown up kids and their spouses!! No pics this time....

| And for those who haven't heard, Trails BC reports that the slide at the west end of the tunnels has been fixed and the trail is now completely open again. |
