I have a purchased a brand new " Mountain Hardware Stileto 1"one person tent that I don't know how to set up in my living room so I would like to jettison this beauty for a used pair of crampons or what have you. This offer is only valid for some one with a new tent setup licence. Nick. miklos220@gmail.com |

| You bought a new tent, you haven't figured out how to set it up so now you're getting rid of it? Unfortunately I only have my learners in the graduated tent setup licensing system. |

I have a tent L. I don't have much to trade with, otherwise I would be all over it.

| That one man tent sounds like a one-pole tent design. You should not be out in the wilderness if you can't figure it out. No offense. |

| I would like to thank all the CT members who have responded to the "tent from hell" sale {very cheap} or trade. I have the attitude that if one can't put together a tent in a reasonable time at home then in rain, wind and uneven terrain the same exercise would be even more difficult. I am sure you have all bought a shirt that looked fabulous in the store and once at home you realized the mistake and it went to the back of the closet forever. I would like to avoid the same error and get rid of the offender as soon as possible. |

It's also possible that if one spends the time to figure out how to set it up at home, then does it a few times, it will become easy to set up, even in wind, rain, and rough terrain.
I have a similar tent, and love it. Three hoops is a pretty simple deal, unless you were expecting it to be freestanding. |

indeed. I have owned a few complex tents, and learned to set them up indoors before taking them out. All it takes is a little bit of patience, and repeated actions.
I hope Miklos that you persevere, and take your tent outdoors for a weekend or few. |

| I am pretty sure I have the same tent. Takes about 5 minutes to set up, tied down and is pretty darn good in 40mph winds. |
