Amazing weekend of sun 40k round trip with overnight at Granite Falls Only one group of boater hooligans but kept the fire on the beach. Some standard Indian arm pics

Assume this is a sea nettle Sea Nettle Chrysaora fuscescens Typical size: 24”-36" length ID: Brown round bell with long brown tentacles. White organs visible underneath the bell Comments: I almost never note this jellyfish. This picture was taken during a chance encounter after diving Duncan rock in the Cape Flattery area. I am actually snorkeling with this jelly east of Duncan Rock in 300 feet of water. And yes, this jelly packs a sting. |

| I think this photo says a lot about the classical architecture BC Hydro put in at the time. It's sure quite an improvement over the "low as possible cost" uninspiring architecture we see everywhere these days, especially in the suburbs. |

| I have never camped at Granite falls; we always stay at Bishop Creek (same distance, but other side of the inlet). Is there any advantage to Granite Falls? |

I would have to say the falls are the big attraction. Then the possibly of checking out the trails around the falls.

Are the trails well marked? Or is it more of a bushwack?quote: Originally posted by camshaft

TR from recon of area http://www.clubtread.com/sforum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=35204
The indian arm trail runs behind granite falls, a trail from the North side of the falls joins up with it. The main train on the North side goes up to a look out area while the connector trail to join the IAT is more difficult to spot.
