Hi all - I neglected to send a note out a few days ago and it may have caused some confusion. Darren and I talked a few months ago about becoming a mod and I updated his account a few days ago as he's agreed to take it on.
I saw that there was a another thread started about designating more mods. I'm open to it. Feel free to PM me anyone you think will be appropriate and they will be considered. Obviously can't be overrun with mods, but 2-3 is appropriate.
Thanks everyone! |

I think self moderation works well, the ones who stopped using douchebag and the f. word are now acting out again because they are obviously buddies with darren. I'd rather ignore the long ramblings from some then continually read the short comments of others.

Lynn, I'm guessing you're talking about the thread involving risk assessments. I've cleaned it up a bit; in the future, if you're upset about something, please email me.
Thanks, darren |

I agree, the bad language is not necessary, but descriptive analogies are fine. Anyone with children in the current school system in BC would note that teachers also frown on foul language and discourage it openly. My children make a point of pointing out foul language when it slips loose or is heard on TV or internet.
