Made you look :)
My goal over past winter was to go on an overnight tour with the dogs. Life happened and our early season training schedule went out the window. Not wanting to push the dogs too hard we opted for weekends skijoring and sleding up in the Duffy area. Enjoy the pics.
.
One problem with our plan - its hard to take pictures when you hooked up to 2 sled dogs. See you next winter. |

| Wow, beautiful dogs! Perfect skijouring partners I bet! Look forward to seeing more from that furry duo. |

That looks like FUN!!!! Gorgeous dogs. Mine is so unimpressed when I put a harness on him, despite the malamute in him... lol. |

Best trip this winter was up Blowdown road. Dogs pulled the sled for the first 5 kms (I helped pushing of course). Then one of them turned and looked at me and I could tell he did not want to pull any more. So I parked the sled and put the ski's on. They pulled me on the ski's another 5 km's. Then I parked the ski's and put the snow shoes on and we went for a km walk up. Had a lunch break and then shoe'd to the ski's, ski'd to the sled, sled'd to the car. Was a great day. 20 plus km's. Un real how for these guys can go.
Only problem - no camera!
Next year we gonna make the over night trip. |
