Just a heads up that the single image uploader should be operational again. Still working on the multi-uploader.

I tried to post a TR today, but it failed with this message:

Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Server.CreateObject Failed

/sforum/process_post.asp, line 79

800401f3

Is it worth trying again, or is it doomed to failure?

Works fine for me using Internet Explorer. Are you using a different browser?

Going to guess you are using Firefox, Google Chrome, or IE with the overly strict settings, or you have spyware.

I will try again with Explorer (and saving the TR in Word before hitting Upload!)

The single image uploader doesn't want to upload anything larger than 1.5 mgbytes. That just doesn't make sense. Very outdated.

As far as I know, the single uploader always had an upper size limit. The multi-image uploader when working automatically resizes your photos. You need to resize them first before using the singles uploader.
