Car camping? hike in? Got gear?
From most T/R's snow is steady and deepening from 600m on in many areas 2 hours from vancouver.

Sam, would that not be totally snow covered??
How about Sumas/chadsey lake, havent been there in years and acess has changed, I would asume its completely snow free. fairly mild and sheltered and has views if not too cloudy.
Hoover lake in Mission area may work too, not the prettiest but functional.

Deception Pass, WA USA.
No snow, gorgeous views, infinite ocean, lovely bridge, not too far from home (within your 2 hour limit)

Holy cripes, you still post here?? Edit: just checked, you do sometimes, I thought you were off CT for a long time..
was thinking an ocean/beach trip is likely a good bet at this time.

Oh probably, but it would be the best conditions for Burke Ridge: wouldn't need snowshoes (we got to the top of Mt Seymour without on Sunday), you could still write your name in the snow, and have a flat surface to pitch tent on.

I have considered that place, but on Washington State Parks website there is a warning about airport noise:

"Please note: U.S. Navy jets from nearby Naval Air Station Whidbey Island may fly over the campground at any time for several hours. Navy personnel conduct training missions which are not announced ahead of time. Depending on the direction of the wind, their flight pattern may put them above the park, creating noisy conditions for campers. State Parks cannot be responsible for this significant intrusion into your camping experience."

Is this a constant thing/hit-and-miss or rare? I would hate for their "several hours" to be 2AM-4AM.
