Mark
How long of a round trip? I think there are several routes, any chance you could email or post a basic route? Have never been, Will likely use a good 4x4 for acess. Thanks |

ok, the trip was about 8 hours return, the route I took on Bivouac.com is referred to as the notch route I beleive, but there is a bit of room for variation on the way up, what I did was go west from the cloudburst spur almost in line with summit and go south
from bivouac :
2. Notch route from Chance Creek Ski. From Chance Creek FSR, ski across clearcut and into trees. Climb up through trees to open slopes below rock, then switchback up to notch and then to summit. This route is slighly west from the Chance Creek Lake route. See Trip Report for GPS waypoints. (1 day)
I didnt take a gps track but I traced out the appoximate route in black here :

hope that helps out |

Frank has to be the most beautiful and noble looking dog going. Do you know how young he is? Love the grey hairs on the muzzle. Are they new this year...I don't recall noticing them before?

| Nice. I will have to get back there on a sunny day and try that route. We went in from BR200 last year in the clouds. |

We only made it about 2 km, snow was frozen, but deep enough if it melts then probably would bottom out
