I was there two years ago. Nice camping at a few places along the shore but water sources are minimal. The main camp spot is at Cow Bay, bt the stream there is tidal - make sure you top up before the tide comes in. It was brackish at least to the bridge (about 1km upstream).
At this time of year you are very likely to see Gray Whales at Cow Bay. I would love to go again, but can't swing the time this year.
Recommended. When we went, it was 20 dollars on the water taxi per person. 10 for students. |

| I was out at Ahousaht the other day for work. You can still take the water taxi "Ahousaht Pride" for $20. |

| Took a trip up to Hot Springs Cove a couple of weeks ago and cruised around Flores. The beaches were deserted and it was a beautiful sunny weekend. So I wouldn't anticipate too many people camping there right now. You can get there by Tofino Water Taxi. Have fun! |

When I was returning to Tofino we noticed the Pride chugging into Tofino ... on fire. A big streamer was coming out of its port exhaust port.
Good to see it's still going. |
