No difference between a ferrari on my ass on a one way street, beeping his horn and yelling at me to let him by because he has a faster car. While I simply give him the finger and continue on my regular routine.
A world of difference. Obviously you don't trail run, mtn bike or even swim lanes in a swimming pool.
Common courtesy to let the faster person go by. Why ruin someone elses day by making them go your slow speed? Selfish.
Well like I said, I think there was a whole lot more to the story that we didn't see. It seemed by the tone of his voice and the way he was noticibly talking into the camera, putting on a show suddenly, he had already had discussions on the edited recording. He was probably an ignorant person at first, then decided he would be nice and put on a show for the camera. After being ignorant the cyclist in the front decided to just ignore him entirely which I wouldn't blame him.
Anyone riding right on my bumper deserves me to lock up my brakes. This is a big difference between swimming and running. Ruin someones day? If someones day is going to be ruined because of someone going too slow, they have mental problems.
Actually you sound ignorant too, rule of the road, just about any road unless in a school-zone or neighborhood full of children & oldsters, is that the slower driver/rider must pull over safely for others and must not impede the traffic/trail. Especially so in the backcountry. Don't be a dick.
What do you know about driving? It's illegal to drive too slow, yes there are speed limits but you also can't drive too slow. Secondly what do you know about biking? Have you ever gotten on one? There are no laws in the mountains pertaining to speeds, there is a thing called common courtesy. If you even watched the video and paid attention you'd see its been edited and doesn't really make any sense as they switched places after halfway through. Your advice isn't usefull as usual.
you are inconsiderate to others if you are unreasonably going too slow and not pulling over for others. I watched the video, both guys are dim, but the lead guy could have pulled over and waited several minutes. Something about a small segment of mtn bikers seems to bring out bad aggressive attitudes and a lack of courtesy. And what do you know Aces? You are so full of insults and removed third-party comments and never post a TR or even a mild hike. Your contribution is abyssmal. |

From the New Zealand Herald:
"Although Dalton has pleaded guilty to the assault, Judge Oke Blaikie yesterday agreed not to enter the conviction on his record while he is still to meet with Mr Brizzell in a restorative justice conference.
Mr Brizzell said he was open to sitting down with Dalton to try to understand "why he got so angry at me - why he lost control".
Dalton was granted bail until he reappears in court on July 23." |

For things like this, I think restorative justice is the way to go. People often don't give that approach the respect it deserves. |
