Congrats to Darryl Sutter and the LA Kings for ending a 45 year drought, and in such an impressive fashion; steamrolling over all the Best in the West as an eighth seed...
Well done.

Let's listen to 'Sports Talk' with Dan(the Man)Russell.....CKNW 980 Listeners phone in with their hypothetical trades......fascinating stuff! Combine any 10 callers, and you might get an IQ that nudges the double numbers.... "Oh well, we gave it our best shot, blah, blah, blah, ....." Always next year, or the year after that, .......
Congrats to Sutter and Company ..... job well done! |

Full Credit to the LA Kings for their effort in winning the cup, starting with their victory over the Canucks early on.

| It takes the sting off the Canucks loss to know that they performed so well throughout the playoffs. Credit where credit is due, that was pretty damned impressive. |

| Impressive run, not your typical 8th seed. I think the most shocking event of the playoff was Sutter smiling tonight. |
