These items have been sold.

Selling off my current backpacking cooking setup.

1 x MSR Quick 2 System:
Includes:
(1)1.5L nonstick DuraLite™ DX pot
(1) 2.5L hard-anodized pot
(1) strainer lid
(2) DeepDish™ plates
(2) insulated stainless steel mugs
(1) Talon™ pot handle.

Link: http://cascadedesigns.com/msr/cookware/simple-cooking/quick-2-system/product

The 1.5L pot is as new as it has hardly been used. Everything else is in great condition.

Cost new on MEC + Tax: $107.52
Asking: $60

1 x MSR Whisperlite:
Includes:
Fuel pump
windscreen
heat reflector
small-parts kit
instructions
stuff sack.

Link: http://cascadedesigns.com/msr/stoves/simple-cooking/whisperlite/product

It has served me well and is still in great working condition. I recently did a maintenance on the fuel pump and did not need to replace any of the washers. Great little stove and easy to use.

Cost new on MEC + Tax: $80.64
Asking: $45

3 x MSR Fuel Bottles:
Includes:
(1) 325ml bottle
(1) 650ml bottle
(1) 975ml bottle

Link: http://cascadedesigns.com/msr/stoves/stove-accessories/msr-fuel-bottles/product

I'd prefer all 3 to go to a new home. For most single night trips in the Spring and Summer at the treeline the 325ml bottle is fine and it's tiny. You would be able to boil at least 15 Litres of water with it. In the alpine, and above 1500m's, or if you're melting and boiling ice/snow the 650ml is preferable. I've never personally had to use the 975ml bottle, but it would primarily be used for multiday trips, or boiling water for more than 2 people.

Cost new on MEC + Tax: $59.36
Asking: $40

**BONUS**

If someone takes the lot I'll not only reduce the total price from $145 to $130

I'll also throw in over 2 Litres of White Gas (naphtha) (good for over 100 Liters of boiled water with this setup) and a Fuel Filter/Funnel for safely filling up the fuel bottles.

Hey Jon, so are you saying you want it? Or are you saying you'll make an offer if this is still available when you get back to the mainland?

If it's still around. It's not fair to ask you to hold it, especially since I don't have wheels to meet you ASAP when I get back.

Well if you start boiling your water now with your stove and start walking to Squamish to buy mine, you should be back just in time to make yourself a cuppa.

@AT: Going to try out an IsoPro stove.

Jon did not have a windscreen, he may have a flame out...

I have the pocket rocket, it work superb, definatley needs a windscreen and a sturdy base, or you may loose a perfect dinner...

Another option is the Primus Gravity 2 MF
Its my favourite and puts out well, uses regular white gas or LP and other available fuels if needed. I like mine alot and it is able to sort of simmer, better than others, and it is sturdy. It is fairly quiet compared to my old Himalaya vari fuel. Weight is reasonable.

This is the most detailed sale I've seen. Only an engineer would tell you the price at MEC including taxes!

PARTY HARD.

lol, cheers Darren. I've bought and sold online for years and I try to tailor my ads to what I'd like to see. I hate having to leave the ad to find out information that should of been included in the first place. Usually that alone is enough for me not to buy an item. If the person couldn't spend at least 5 minutes to put some links and text in their ad why would I give them my money which probably took me a few hours to earn.

How did I miss this?

Good prices I can see why it sold. In case they haven't, I could use a different size fuel bottle (have the 975, but wouldn't reject a second).
