I'm picking-up a pair of snowshoes tomorrow and have no one to go "shoeing" with. Does anyone want to make tracks on Monday the 9th? Or maybe suggest a trail thats ok to solo, preferably near chilliwack?

Actually it's Cambie Creek. But if you follow the route to the upwards it turns into Fat Dog.

Another option, depending on snow level, is the Skagit River in Manning. Our LIghtening Lakes.

Devmar..

I am planning on Ford Mountain on Saturday. This is a mountain that might interest you for short trips, and beyond if you are into long.

Elk Mtn is a good one for soloing too, although it's pretty rare that anyone is really alone up there anymore. The pipeline along the lower flanks of Zoa in the Coq is also a good starter snowshoe.
Congrats on the new snowshoes, what did you end up getting?

Devmar... Thank you for the offer. I still have not purchased any shoes and have an obligation that afternoon. Hope you have an absolute blast breaking in your new snow shoes.

KARVITK- I saw that and would love to join you but I have to work saturdays!
Hey Tim, I'm thinking I'll head-up to Lindeman-Greendrop for the sunrise, maybe up to Flora.

I picked-up a pair of Lightning Ascents.
Thanks pinebushman, I'm sure I'll enjoy them!
