As of late yesterday, no one had been up Fat Dog for several days. The parking lot was not plowed, and trailbreaking will be extreme due to 70cm+ of heavy snow in the last few days. There was parking along the highway. Avalanche danger is high to extreme since all this sits on top of a rain crust.

Thanks for tip. I was half-planning to go there for the long weekend. Glad I didn't.

I went and did the cambie creek loop today, trail was broken up towards fatdog, parking lot was plowed when we arrived. Where the trail spits to continue on the loop instead of fatdog had been untouched and I was sinking up to my waist with snowshoes.
