Hi Jim & anyone else,
Maybe someone knows this answer, when I recently reprogrammed to a newer windows and uploaded to CT's 'improved' 5.5 photo uploader, I immediately noticed that my represented photos on CT lack a certain amount of resolution or sharpness. On my personal photo files and inserts to friends on e-mail, this issue does not exist.
Could there be an issue or incompatibility within the 5.5 upgrade?

Stuff stored on CT is reduced in size if it wasn't already, that is part of what the uploader does. That way the site runs quick and uses less storage space. Your pics don't look any different - quality wise - than anyone elses.
If you want to represent a higher res photo online there are many options. Some are free, some you have to pay. Depends a lot on what you are trying to accomplish. |
