Its become a somewhat of an anual event now. Each year we pick a spot and stay a night or 2 or 3? Likely spot is higher on the Coquilhalla again, to avoid possible rains and melting alpine temps often found in the Fraser valley. Videos can be found online..
Spunky and I dont really have much for rules, except you cant bring your snowmobile (unless you are making a beer run for everybody) We do try to have a fire and fireworks and let loose within reason
There have been some questionable ongoings in the past, some would recomend safety glasses. a fire extinguisher?? anti aircraft rockets? a SWAT team shield. A full face helmet with chin guard. A satelite phone, video camera, a large protective dog. extra liqour, more than one first aid kit. LOTS of bear bangers. Crazy carpets, sleds, a saw.more Bandaids.Garbage bags. Bullet proof vest.A nurse. AT skis. Tobaggons, hand/foot warmers. GPS,SPOT, maybe a map. See you there
EDIT: TIKI TORCHES
Please email Jon/JD22 on safety precautions
EDIT: LOCATION - IAGO - COQUILHALLA There is an opening/meadow just below the Iago ridge and just to the Left of the Zupjok approach. I will have some pics and GPS co ordinates soon.

EDIT 12/27:
GPS coordinates Leave the old road at a switchback N 49 36.393 W 121 09.059
Camp should be around N 49 36.391 W 121 09.375
Spunky and I will be heading in on Saturday (31st), leaving on Monday (2nd). No set timelines, you're all welcome to come and go as you wish. If you have a hand saw bring it.
Watching the weather closely as a warm front is moving in but it looks like the freezing levels will be dropping again by Saturday.

Please post if you're confirmed, just so we can get an idea of how many people. |

| usually we post last minute, with just a handful of people attending, this year maybe a BIG turnout. The area (TBA) that has been chosen will support a large roup. |

I might be in.
I normally go car camping on new years as I have a chain saw/large fire addiction I can't quite seem to shake. |

I honestly can't remember why I didn't go last year. The year before I was hobbling about on the injured list. THIS year, well......I'll keep it in mind |

Ah shit. I enjoyed the last couple years of eyesight, so I'd better make the best of my vision for the next 2 months.
Probably in - same location as last year? |

| The second half of the 2009 videos is just you guys mocking me and my injury, and then trying to get me naked. I need to reconsider attending these any more... |

John, Paulyman is bringing condoms, so its all safe Location will likely be changed to the Coquilahalla area, about 1-2 hours from the vehicles, so the approach is safe and easy. Exact spot will be announced closer to date. |

| Something discrete somewhere on Vancouver's North Shore or a short ride up the Sea-to-Sky would be great. |
