| No ,but mastery of those techniques are part of club retreads membership requirements. Kidding aside ,every scrambler should learn them,do they even teach them at climbing gyms? |

Another awesome evening at climbing with Jenn, Lynn, Nicki and myself. I am so addicted to climbing and loved trying out my new gear. We also had the priviledge of meeting another CT member - Russell alias rustysheep on CT. Thanks for introducing yourself to us Russell! See you again.

Ted, I'm sorry to say that I asked my instructor about the hip belay and dulfersitz. He told me that these techniques haven't been taught for over 50 years and that the friend who wants me to learn them must not like me. LOL!
I got to thinking that you must be really really old. Too bad I'll never make retread status, foiled again  ! |
