Hello Jim ,


This message came up when I tried to clean up and edit my profile page , any idea what it means ?...

Not a whole new computer...it can easily be fixed by booting with a DOS disk. When you see the command prompt, just type in
format c: \q\u
That should get rid of the problem!

Or wait it out and use less character letters in entries ?

Seems to work at the moment , I'll double check later on.


say another question, how do some members here get a paragraph statement under their user -name-titles during posts [ left side ], and that little yellow hiking-person icon ? If there is a pattern , I don't see it

The yellow hiker person icon is put there after you donate to CT.

The short paragraph in the same area was something that when members got to 1000 posts - other members would suggest descriptors for them. It sometimes happened before 1000 posts too. Longshadow and other members haven't done it for a while now though.
