Global News reported at the 11.00pm news tonight that a couple walking their 3 dogs OFF LEASH to their favourite fishing hole, treed a bear cub "unintentionally" and mamma bear attacks one of the dogs. The man attacks the bear, bare handed to save his dogs and he ends up with fourteen stitches. Only slight injuries to the dogs. Of course there is the 10 minute adrenalin sprint back to the car. Please "God of the Bears", will they ever learn? My re reporting may not be perfectly accurate, but you get the message!!

^^^^ Thank you for posting that, tu. Maybe one of these days people will finally get a clue.

Then again, maybe not.

what happens when a bear feels threatened and protects itself and its young??

its a different story when a stupid being defends their off-leash dog

a human cull is in order i think...where are you wrath of mother nature??

take a moment to mellow out on this old hit and consider how harsh you are on dogs and people.

Reduce the world population and I would bet very large sums of money that sooooooo many problems would go away.

Another good reason to carry a bfk, while walking your dog off leash.

Walking dogs 15 minutes east of Union street: what a total a$$ hat! Too bad the New Denver yokels lacked our sophisticated ability to offer up strong opinions in a near complete absence of facts or context. When will they learn?
