After losing my fitness over 2 months due to a broken collar bone, I decided to get back into the game hard so that I would be up to big ascents. What better way to exhaust myself than a 16.5 hour day with 2500m of gain. I also managed to get dehydrated and gouge myself pretty good by tumbling down the scree briefly on Brett when a rock rolled out from under my foot.

The day after my epic long ascent of Pilot and Brett, I was again scrambling up a mountain. This time the mountain was a lot shorter and I was also a lot slower. I probably wouldn't have gone up it except that I promised Jim I would take him up a mountain when he arrived in Canmore.
