Here are some pictures from our hike on September 1st. The 2 friends I took are from Florida and have never been hiking before so I was very excited to show them the glaciers! They did a great job for it being their first hike!

Was a Great day started trail about 9:30am and finished our day at 5:30pm :-) Very refreshing.

A lovely spot! Just a few more weeks and we should be able to get some skiing up that way on new snow!(crosses fingers)

This has got to be my favourite hike on a reach scorching day. The hotter it gets, the higher the katabatic winds off the glacier, which makes for a lovely natural air conditioner. And the first half or so in the forest is always cool and misty in the early mornings.

Thank you!! I have alot of Glacier photos, i didnt go through all of them yet but i really should put them in an album cause it seems people really like to see the glaciers close up :-)

Creek crossing were not to bad at the end...can always find a way to cross. Although it really helps to have other people with you to help each other to cross.

Snow levels dropping to 6,000ft Friday and Saturday. This place could look like a winter wonderland this weekend!!!
